It's A Mean Old Scene
It's A Mean Old Scene is a photographic publication illustrating my personal experience growing up in the industrial city of Bradford, as a half Pakistani but non religious woman. It also details the experiences of others.
Bradford has many negative connotations attached to it, it's labelled as poor, run down, violent and culturally/racially divided, amongst other things, yet Bradford is a diamond in the rough. My aim was to shine a new positive light on my city through the photography, as well as detailing the struggles and anecdotal experiences Bradford gave me and others.
